Collaborative Artworks
Several years ago Michael Knighton was approached by the well-known international artist, Professor David Mach RA - the Professor of Sculpture at the Royal Academy of Arts, London - to investigate the possibility of creating collaborative works together with Michael. David Mach had been impressed by Michael's general artwork, espicially the metaphors behind the narrative of Knighton's Gilded Boy series.
Michael was delighted and indeed honored to have been approached by such an esteemed, highly successful international artist such as David Mach.
Over the years the two artists have become not only great friends but have also produced some visionary and outstanding collaborative artworks, for example, see the magnificent collages of famous football players. They now work together on several major and important art related projects.
